PokerBitcoins is an independent review desk covering crypto-native online poker. We test deposits, play real hands, and cash out in bitcoin before we publish a verdict. No operator pays us to say they are good.
What we do
We review the 20 or so poker rooms that genuinely accept bitcoin, ether, USDT, or other crypto rails in 2026. For each room, we open a funded account, play cash games and tournaments, and attempt a real withdrawal. Our reviews are grounded in what we actually experienced, not what the operator claims in a press release.
How we score a poker site
Every site gets a 1-to-5 score built from six weighted factors:
- Cashout speed and reliability (30%) — how long a real BTC or USDT withdrawal took, and whether it processed without friction.
- Rake and bonus math (20%) — effective rake after rakeback, real clear rate on the welcome bonus, and honest EV for a recreational player.
- Game selection and traffic (15%) — peak-hour ring-game traffic, tournament guarantees, and field softness.
- Crypto support (15%) — which coins and networks are supported, minimum deposit, and on-chain fees.
- Software and mobile (10%) — client stability, HUD support, mobile table rendering.
- License and history (10%) — regulatory posture, years in operation, any past payout incidents.
Scores are re-checked every 90 days. When a room changes its rake, loses a license, or breaks a payout, we publish an update and amend the rating the same week.
How we make money
PokerBitcoins is an affiliate publisher. When a reader clicks a Play Now button and later deposits, we may earn a commission from the poker room. This never affects the score. A room cannot pay its way into a higher rating, and we have removed operators from the ranked list when the score dropped below 3.5 regardless of the commercial impact.
